For the past two days I've look out my cabin window and seen this buck just chilling. The deer typically lie down much farther from the building, in a wooded area. The deer aren't tame, so if I step outside, it will spring up and run. I always feel a bit bad about making them jump up from such a relaxed state, but it's good practice in case a mountain lion comes prowling.
