I went away for a few weeks and when I returned I found a back field full of yellow flowers. Most were solid yellow, but a few had a dark center.
The flower head is about and 1.5 inches across. I picked a few and discovered they exude a sticky, colorless residue with an odor that I would not recommend as perfume. The flower heads wilted immediately so I got the message that these are not bouquet flowers. I am quite happy to enjoy them outdoors.
