Camp Cougar doesn't have that many thistles. Glen spends a good deal of time each spring digging up or spraying them with weed killer. If he didn't the property would be over run with them, and they are not native to California. I had hoped deer would eat them, but they don't. Even though thistles are a problem plant, I think they are beautiful. A few manage to grow.
