The other day I came upon this pile of scat while hiking not too far from my cabin. After some research, I confirmed that is is mountain lion scat. The scat is composed mostly of deer fur embedded with bits of bone. The lion ate the deer somewhere else. It might have been down in the gully where Glen found a pile of deer bones one day.
