Pond Visitors

We had lots of visitors to the pond in the few weeks we were away. Squirrels, stellar jays, quail, doves, and other birds were the most frequent. They visit anytime the sun is up. As a result, the Critter Cam snapped hundreds of photos of them. The deer visit next frequently, but tend to stop by around or just after sunset and sunrise. This buck enjoys visiting just after midnight.

Skunks visit less frequently and tend to do so between 3:00 and 5:00 AM, although this one dropped by at 10:41 PM.

Once in awhile a fox comes around, but not often enough to get a sense of when their favorite pond time is. This fox looks a bit small. He was moving fast enough so that the CritterCam captured only one frame.
